Effective April 1, 2026, the updated ICAI Code of Ethics prohibits audit firms from accepting audits of Public Interest Entities (PIEs) if they previously provided non-assurance services creating a self-review threat. ReraDesk is a data processing tool, not an assurance or non-assurance service. Using ReraDesk to prepare QPR data does not constitute a non-assurance service under the Code — your CA firm can continue accepting PIE audits without restriction.
